I woke up the morning after an open mic to my G string being broken
the capo was still on fret two
whether or not that contributed to its death, I don't know.
but i wrote a song about it.
RIP you good string.
(they call it the G string, because it's good)

capo number two was too much pressure for you,

but last night at the open mic,

i don’t think i could have predicted this,
